While fillers are injected into the intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular and submuscular planes, Botox is injected into the muscle tissue as it is only effective on the mimic muscles.
Fillers can be used in almost every part of the face and body to give volume (under the eyes, temples, cheeks, chin). Botox does not give volume, it just relaxes the muscles (botox is also a drug used in the treatment of sweating due to its effect on sweat glands).
Fillers can also be injected into the wrinkles, that is, into the skin.
Fillers act immediately and you can see the effect and change after the procedure. It takes 4-7 days for Botox to take effect.
